Off Season Putting Practice
Set up either a piece of floor carpet or a fake turf putting mats about 12 feet long in front of a full length mirror. Try to work on your your set-up (grip, posture and stance) first. This will help you get an idea on a good set-up.It will help you fix some problems while you are out on the course. After working on your set-up, practice a straight putting stroke, don't worry about the speed of the carpet/turf. You are just working on using your set-up to actually aiming over the putt. You can practice any distance you want, or have trouble with. When you are over that putt come april, you should have the complete confidence in making it. Its just another putt your practiced on the carpet.
